After the screening and throughout the remainder of the festival I received words of praise and appreciative compliments from many fellow filmmakers and festival attendees. When I was waiting on line for a film on Friday night I found myself surrounded by folks who had seen the film and loved it... makes all of the work worthwhile.
I want to thank George Marshall, the staff and all of the volunteers for organizing such a fantastic festival!
Next up for A BIKE RIDE is the 1 Reel Film Festival in Seattle. As soon as we have details about screenings we will update this blog.
Finally, on a personal note, I got to meet and chat with one of my film hero's. The man is 92 years old, won his Oscar in 1960 and just completed his 199th film. Talk about a legend!
