Apologies for the lapse in recent posts but to make up for it we have two new items related to the film to tell you about. A Bike Ride will be screening/screened at two different events on opposite sides of the US.
RHODE ISLAND
Procycle 2009 Art Exhibition
A Bike Ride will be screening throughout the month of November 2009 and will be part of the opening night festivities on November 5th. Procycle is event that is dedicated to celebrating and creating greater awareness of bicycle culture, promoting and improving rider safety and increasing the development of transport options for bicyclists. To learn more about the exhibition please visit the website.
SEATTLE
Seattle International Film Festival
The film screened on September 7th as an opening short for the film Critical Mass. I (Fix) was particularly thrilled at this match-up as I have participated in many Critical Mass rides and always had a fantastic time. If you do not know about the rides but are a bicyclist (or bike friendly) I suggest you check out the wikiwebsite which provides details about the rides in locations throughout the world and perhaps consider participating or at least observing and lending support.
Thanks to Alan Barta with Procycle in RI and Beth Barrett with SIFF for inviting us to their wonderful events and of course thanks to all of the folks who work at the events as well.
As we get more news about event related to the film we will be sure to post them - take care and thanks for reading!
